Barcelona responded with sustained pressure after the break and found an equalizer in the 61st minute through captain Raphinha, who converted a pass from Pedri to ignite the home crowd.
With the match tied entering the closing stages, Real Madrid launched a decisive counter-attack in the 87th minute. Substitute Eduardo Camavinga broke down the wing and squared a precise low cross for Mbappé to sweep home his second goal of the night, silencing Camp Nou and sealing all three points.
The result hands Barcelona their first defeat of the domestic league season while bringing Real Madrid within three points of the top of the table.
